Summary
This report provides an update on the work completed to date to address the recommendations made by the Auditor General in the report, titled "Raising the Alarm: Fraud Investigation of a Vendor Providing Life Safety Inspection Services to the City of Toronto," and provides an overview of the 2019 work plan being delivered by the new City-Wide Fire and Life Safety Program Office. The implementation of these recommendations will increase the current state of fire and life safety compliance at City facilities and will enhance the overall culture of fire and life safety.
