Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1.  Prohibited parking from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of West Deane Park Drive, between a point opposite Amberwood Road and a point 44 metres east of Beaver Bend Crescent.

 

 2.  Rescinded the existing maximum ten-minute parking regulation in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the south side of West Deane Park Drive, between a point 25 metres east of Amberwood Road and a point 44 metres east of Beaver Bend Crescent.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter for which Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

The purpose of this report is to propose the introduction of a “No Parking, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday” parking regulation on the south side of West Deane Park Drive, along a portion of the frontage of Josyf Cardinal Slipyj School, 35 West Deane Park Drive.

 

The proposed “No Parking, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday” parking restriction is required to accommodate operational needs which includes a student drop off program that assists students entering and exiting from vehicles to Josyf Cardinal Slipyj School.
