Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Directed Transportation Services take to the necessary actions to reduce the speed limit from 40 km/h to 30 km/h on George Street, between King Street and Church Street.
2. Waived the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and approved the installation of traffic calming on George Street, between King Street and Church Street.
3. Requested the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter sections of the roadway on George Street, between King Street and Church Street for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on Drawing EY 19-051, dated May 2019.
