Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Approved the alterations and modifications on John Street, east of Weston Road, as indicated in Appendix "A", and generally as shown on the attached Drawing EY19-054, dated June 2019.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.
The purpose of this report is to obtain authorization for a roadway alteration related to improvements and modifications on John Street, east of Weston Road.
This proposed road alteration is part of Engineering and Construction Services, Weston Road Improvements Project, Weston Road, between Lawrence Avenue West to St. Phillips Road, Contract Number 19ECS-TI-104LR to provide for a more pedestrian friendly environment on John Street by narrowing the road to 7.0 metres, widening the sidewalks, reducing the corner radii, installing tactile plates and implementing audible pedestrian signals.
