Community Council Decision
Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. In accordance with the City's Public Appointments Policy, appointed the following nominees to the Business Improvement Area (BIA) Board of Management set out below at the pleasure of Etobicoke York Community Council, and for a term expiring at the end of the term of Council or as soon thereafter as successors are appointed:

Ahmad, Atiq
Anastasoff, David
Hatherley, Marianne
Hossain, Masum
Kalamaris, George
Kalamaris, Peter
Makim, Paren
Warsame, Omar
Weinberg-Linsky, Suri
2. Directed that Schedule A of the Municipal Code Chapter 19, Business Improvement Areas, be amended by changing the number of members of the following Board of Management:
Weston Village 10
3. Deferred consideration of the nominees to the Emery Village Business Improvement Area, to the meeting of the Etobicoke York Community Council on March 19, 2019.

Summary
The purpose of this report is to appoint directors to the Boards of Management of two (2) Business Improvement Areas that fall within the Etobicoke York Community Council boundaries for the new term of Council and make necessary changes to Schedule A of the Municipal Code, Chapter 19.

Etobicoke York Community Council recessed its public session and met in closed session to consider the above matter.
Etobicoke York Community Council reconvened in public session at 9:59 a.m. Councillor Grimes took the Chair and advised that the Community Council had completed its closed session consideration of confidential information related to this Item. No motions were moved in Closed Session. The Community Council would now proceed with the public debate on this Item.
That Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Adopt Recommendation 1, only as it relates to the Weston Village Business Improvement Area, and Recommendation 2, contained in the report (January 23, 2019) from the Director, Business Growth Services, Economic Development and Culture.
2. Defer consideration of Recommendation 1, only as it relates to the Emery Village Business Improvement Area, to its meeting on March 19, 2019.
