City Council Decision
City Council on May 14 and 15, 2019, adopted the following:
1. City Council appoint that following candidates to the Toronto Community Housing Corporation Board of Directors, at pleasure of Council:
a. Tim Murphy who will serve as Chair for a term of office ending May 15, 2021, and until a successor is appointed; and
b. Adele Imrie and John F. Campbell who will serve as public members for a term of office ending May 25, 2020 and until successors are appointed.
2. City Council direct that Confidential Attachments 1 to 5 to the report (April 29, 2019) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Community Housing Corporation Board of Directors.

Tim Murphy
As an Executive Partner at a major law firm, a former elected official and a former Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Canada, Tim Murphy brings a broad range of experience to the TCHC. He is a director of a publicly-traded residential real estate company and is an expert in bringing the public and private sector together to deliver public assets and services. He is the author/editor of Construction Law in Canada and will publish his text on Public-Private Partnerships in May of 2019.
Adele Imrie
Adele Imrie is a CPA CA who served as a Senior financial executive with extensive experience in mixed use commercial real estate and P3 infrastructure project financing, development and long term asset life cycle management including two major social assisted housing projects in Toronto and Vancouver. Adele also possesses significant Board experience having served as Chair and Audit Committee Chair for several large Not For Profit organizations in the education and health care sectors.
John F. Campbell
John Campbell served as Toronto City Councillor (2014-18), (Budget Committee Vice-Chair, Planning & Growth, the TTC). Previously, he was elected as TDSB Trustee (2003) and Chair (2008-09), during two terms. As Chair, he led 22 trustees in setting priorities and policy, and managing a $2.3B budget. For thirty years, John worked in the consumer packaged goods industry, most recently as managing director of his own sales agency. John has a MBA from the Schulich School of Business (1999), Hon BA from U of T.
