City Council Decision

City Council on April 24, 25, 26 and 27, 2018, adopted the following:

 

1.  City Council delete Part 1 of its decision on Item MM38.33.

 

Part to be deleted:

 

1.  City Council direct the City Solicitor and appropriate City staff to attend the Toronto Local Appeal Body in order to oppose this appeal unless the Toronto Local Appeal Body imposes the conditions of approval detailed in the report (January 8, 2018) from the Director, Community Planning, Etobicoke York District and the memorandum (January 3, 2018) from the Manager, Traffic Planning/Right of Way Management, Transportation Services, and any other such conditions that are deemed necessary or appropriate to the satisfaction of the City Solicitor, in consultation with the Acting Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, or designates, and the General Manager, Transportation Services, or designates, and the local Ward Councillor, and to retain outside consultants, as necessary.

 

2.  City Council direct the City Solicitor and appropriate City staff to attend the Toronto Local Appeal Body Hearing in order to oppose the appeal of the Committee of Adjustment’s decision, dated January 11, 2018, refusing the application for minor variances respecting 74 Royal York Road (Application A0390/17EYK).
 

3.  City Council authorize the City Solicitor to seek revisions to the proposal that appropriately implement the conditions of approval detailed in the report (January 8, 2018) from the Director, Community Planning, Etobicoke York District and the memorandum (January 3, 2018) from the Manager, Traffic Planning/Right-of-Way Management, Transportation Services, and any other such conditions that are deemed necessary or appropriate, to the satisfaction of the City Solicitor, in consultation with the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning, or designates, and the General Manager, Transportation Services or designate, and the local Ward Councillor.

 
4.  City Council authorize the City Solicitor to request the Toronto Local Appeal Body to impose any such conditions as deemed necessary by the City Solicitor, and to retain outside consultants, as necessary.
