1. Requested the General Manager, Children's Services to explore and report to the Community Development and Recreation Committee on opportunities at the Sir Robert Borden Business and Technical Institute site located at 200 Poplar Road as a potential site to facilitate new programs and services to accommodate the Ministry of Education's Journey Together initiative.

Summary
This report provides an update to the report dated August 18, 2017, Expanding Indigenous-led Early Years Programs and Services, which outlined proposals to expand Indigenous-led early years programs and services jointly submitted by the City of Toronto and its Indigenous planning partners to the Ministry of Education's Journey Together initiative. In response to these proposals, Toronto was allocated $6,893,497 for 2018 and $4,067,606 for 2019, with these allocations included in the 2018 Council Approved Operating Budget for Children's Services. On February 9th, 2018, Children's Services was informed by the Province that an additional proposal for First Nations School was approved. This report outlines the scope of the new programs and services that these investments will fund.
