City Council on November 8 and 9, 2016, adopted the following:
1. City Council receive the report (September 28, 2016) from the Integrity Commissioner for information.
2. City Council request the Integrity Commissioner to monitor the activity of the Local Appeal Body in its first year of operation, confer with the Local Appeal Body, Court Services and the Planning and Administrative Tribunal Law group of Legal Services about the role of the community in the Local Appeal Body proceedings and then report to City Council, elaborating on how Members of Council can support local residents on matters of community interest before the Local Appeal Body, including possible roles for Councillors in any mediation process adopted by the Local Appeal Body.
