Committee Decision
The Executive Committee:
1. Requested the General Manager, Transportation Services to consider the following in the scope of the proposed cycle track review:
a. an assessment of those cycle track locations which are believed to be causing increased risk or inconvenience to other users, including but not limited to those locations for which complaints have been received by Transportation Services and public input received by the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee on April 9, 2015.
b. assessment and recommendations for process improvements to ensure that future staff reports on Transportation Projects will explicitly disclose and rigorously address any safety or accessibility impacts on other road users, in particular, pedestrians.

Jacquelyn Hayward Gulati, Manager, Cycling Infrastructure and Programs, Transportation Services will make a presentation to the Disability, Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee on issues of cycle track design and accessibility at 24 Wellesley Street.
Transportation Services is undertaking a review of issues raised and will be reporting back to the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee on solutions. Their presentation will include an overview and provide an opportunity for Disability, Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee members to ask questions and provide feedback.
