City Council Decision

City Council on May 6, 7 and 8, 2014, adopted the following:

 

1.         City Council receive for information the submission from the Chair of the Board, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Hummingbird (Sony) Centre for the Performing Arts, regarding the Sony CEO search in response to City Council's request in Member Motion MM48.31, as set out in the Confidential Attachment 1 made public with redactions and Confidential Attachment 2 to the report (May 5, 2014) from the City Manager.

 

2.         City Council direct that the balance of Confidential Attachment 1 and all of Confidential Attachment 2 to the report (May 5, 2014) from the City Manager remain confidential in their entirety because they deal with personnel matters and contain third-party personal information.

 

3.         City Council confirm the confidential instructions issued to staff in the Closed Session.

 

The balance of Confidential Attachment 1 and all of Confidential Attachment 2 to the report (May 5, 2014) from the City Manager remain confidential in their entirety in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as they pertain to labour relations or employee negotiations and personal matters that may identify individuals including municipal or local board employees.

Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (May 5, 2014) from the City Manager was made public with redactions on May 6, 2014 and can be accessed under Background Information (City Council).

 

City Council recessed its public session and met as Committee of the Whole in closed session on May 6, 2014, and considered confidential information on this Item as it relates to labour relations or employee negotiations and personal matters that may identify individuals including municipal or local board employees.

 

City Council issued confidential instructions to staff in closed session as permitted by the City of Toronto Act, 2006, which remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to labour relations or employee negotiations and personal matters that may identify individuals including municipal or local board employees.
