North York Community Council:

1.         Approved the installation of an all-way stop control at the intersection of Anndale Drive and Bales Avenue.

2.         Approved the installation of no stopping at anytime restrictions both sides on Anndale Drive between Yonge Street and Bales Avenue.

3.         Approved the deletion of the no parking between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, regulation on the south side of Anndale Avenue  from the westerly limit of Anndale Drive to the westerly limit of Tradewind Drive.

4.         Approved the deletion of the no parking between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, regulation on the north side of Anndale Drive  from the westerly limit of Anndale Drive to a point opposite the easterly limit of lot 128 Plan 3421 (#81).

5.         Approved the installation of no parking between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on both sides of Anndale Drive from Bales Avenue to Tradewind Drive.

6.         Approved the removal of the prohibited entry at anytime regulation from Poyntz Avenue to the proposed office access road east of Yonge Street.

7.         Approved the removal of the compulsory turn regulation from the driveway to No. 4711 Yonge Street to Poyntz Avenue.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City policy or by-laws.

To obtain approval for the installation of an all-way stop control at the intersection of Anndale Drive and Bales Avenue; the installation of no stopping at anytime restrictions on Anndale Drive between Yonge Street and Bales Avenue and the removal of the existing eastbound and westbound through restrictions on Yonge Street at Poyntz Avenue/driveway to 4711 Yonge Street.  Amendments to the traffic regulations subject of this report will facilitate the opening of the Anndale Drive extension to Yonge Street.

As part the development agreement, Application 06 163756 NNY 23 OZ, Tridel (for Hullmark Centre Inc.) was required to construct the portion of Anndale Drive between Yonge Street and Bales Avenue.
