Speaker Nunziata took the Chair and called the Members to order.

The meeting opened with O Canada.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council of the following:

This special meeting of Council has been scheduled for the following purposes:

1.         To consider the findings of the Expert Advisory Panel regarding transit on Sheppard Avenue

and

2.         To introduce and enact a confirming by-law for this special meeting.

This is a special meeting.  Under Council’s Procedures, no new business items, such as Notices of Motions, may be introduced.   This rule cannot be waived.
