City Council Decision
City Council on October 2, 3 and 4, 2012, adopted the following:
1. City Council adopt the recommendations set out in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (October 1, 2012) from the City Solicitor.
2. City Council direct that Confidential Attachment 1 including Appendix A to the report (October 1, 2012) from the City Solicitor remain confidential as it contains advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege and pertains to litigation or potential litigation. City Council authorize the public release of all or a portion of the confidential instructions at the discretion of the City Solicitor.
Confidential Attachment 1 including Appendix A to the report (October 1, 2012) from the City Solicitor remains confidential in its entirety at this time in accordance with the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as it contains advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege and pertains to litigation or potential litigation. All or a portion of the confidential instructions will be made public at the discretion of the City Solicitor.

City Council subsequently did not consider this Item in closed session.
