ED8.5 - Toronto Film Board: Terms of Reference and Appointment of New Members

City Council Decision
City Council on October 24 and 25, 2011, adopted the following:
1. City Council appoint the members listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (September 21, 2011) from the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture, to the Toronto Film Board and authorize the City Clerk to make the appointees' names public following the adoption of this report and notification of the Applicants.
2. City Council waive the Public Appointments Policy residency requirement for membership for the one individual listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (September 21, 2011) from the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture, to permit service on this industry advisory committee for this term of Council.
3. City Council adopt the Terms of Reference for the Film, Television and Commercial Production Industry Committee as outlined in Attachment 2 to the report (September 21, 2011) from the General Manager, Economic Development and Culture, and the change of name to the Toronto Film Board.
