City Council Decision
City Council on September 21 and 22, 2011, adopted the following:
1. City Council receive the report (September 15, 2011) from the City Solicitor.
2. City Council direct that the instructions be made public once adopted by Council.
3. City Council request the General Manager, Transportation Services report to the North York Community Council on traffic conditions related to the school within six months of its opening.
4. City Council direct the Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (September 15, 2011) from the City Solicitor remain confidential as it contains advice or communications that are subject to solicitor-client privilege in connection with a site plan currently before the Ontario Municipal Board and advice concerning pending litigation.
The following instructions to staff were adopted by Council and are now public:
City Council direct the City Solicitor be sent to the Ontario Municipal Board to defend Site Plan Alternative "A" on Site Plan and Statistics Alternatives 'A' and 'B' prepared by Etude Architect Inc dated December 16, 2009, Revision No. R-7.
Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (September 15, 2011) from the City Solicitor remains confidential in its entirety in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as it relates to the litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board and advice or communications that are subject to solicitor-client privilege.
