RentSafeTO Online Registration & Renewal for Apartment Buildings

In this site you can:

  • View and update your building information
  • View and update your contact information
  • Register and renew your apartment building(s) – the current fee per residential unit can be found in Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 441 Fees and Charges, Appendix C Schedule 12, Municipal Licensing and Standards (reference number 451)

RentSafeTO: Apartment Building Standards Program aims to ensure residents have a suitable place to call home. This program takes effect on July 1, 2017 and applies to all residential rental apartment buildings that are three or more storeys tall and have 10 or more apartment units. Building owners must register and renew their buildings annually by paying the applicable registration fee.

  • The login and PIN number that was mailed to you
  • A valid business email address
  • A credit card for online payment
