Committee Decision

The Economic Development Committee:

1. Elected Councillor Shelley Carroll as Vice-Chair of the Economic Development Committee for a term of office expiring on November 30, 2014, and until a successor is appointed.

Summary

The Vice-Chair of the Economic Development Committee is elected by the Members of the Committee for each half of the Council term under s. 27-132 of the Council Procedures. Due to the resignation of Councillor David Shiner, Vice-Chair, from the Committee, the Members shall elect a Vice-Chair for the remainder of the term to November 30, 2014.

All Members are eligible for election.

That Councillor Shelley Carroll be nominated as Vice-Chair for the Economic Development Committee for a term of office expiring on November 30, 2014, and until a successor is appointed.
