North York Community Council Area

 

 

The Council of the City of Toronto proposes to pass a by-law to permanently close the following:

 

1. Part of the public lane between 145 and 181 Sheppard Avenue East, legally described as follows:

 

Part of PIN 10104-0563 (LT)

PART OF LANE Plan 3596 North York ABUTTING BLOCK A

REGISTERED PLAN 3596

(Part 1 66R29245 Closed By AT4690197); DESIGNATED AS PARTS 1 AND 2, PLAN 66R-34984

Land Titles Division of the Toronto Registry Office (No. 66)

 

 

At its meeting to be held in the Council Chamber North Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge Street on July 7, 2026 at 9:30 AM, or shortly afterwards, the North York Community Council will hear from, or by their counsel, agent or solicitor, any person who wishes to speak to this matter.

 

The meeting of the North York Community Council will be held with members participating in person and remotely, and the proceedings of the North York Community Council will be conducted publicly.

The City will also make your communication and any personal information in it – such as your postal address, telephone number or e-mail address – available to the public, unless you expressly request the City to remove it.

This notice shall also constitute notice to the public of the proposed public highway closure in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for Schedule A+ activities..
