At its meeting on October 9 and 10, 2024, City Council approved TE16.6 - 566-576 Sherbourne Street and 29-37 Linden Street - Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment, and Rental Housing Demolition Applications - Decision Report to permit the development of a 69-storey residential building containing 872 residential units, including 41 rental dwelling units to replace the existing 19 rental dwelling units and 22 dwelling rooms on the property.

The owner has applied to revise the Rental Housing Demolition Application (23 195991 STE 13 RH) that was previously approved by City Council on October 9, 2024. The revisions include the addition of a residential property at 564 Sherbourne Street containing four rental dwelling units and one dwelling room. The amended application proposes to demolish and replace the four rental dwelling units and gross floor area of the dwelling room in the proposed residential development resulting a total of 45 replacement rental units.

Under Chapter 667 of the Municipal Code, Community Council shall consider and make recommendations on the revised approval conditions of the Rental Housing Demolition application.
