Notice
NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the
City of Toronto’s real estate disposal by-law, the following properties were
declared surplus:
1. On May 31, 2022,
a City-owned parcel of land being a part of 4050 Yonge Street and legally described
as Part of Lots 99, 100, 101 & 102, Plan 204, designated as Parts 1 & 2
on Plan 66R-26058; City Of Toronto, was declared surplus. The City proposes to invite an offer to
purchase from Yonge City Square Inc., the adjacent property owner; subject to
the reservation of an easement in favor of the City to allow for public access
from the existing Toronto Transit Commission ("TTC") entrance
connections to the below-grade York Mills subway station.
2. On
July 16, 2019, a property to be transferred to the City as a parkland
dedication, being a part of 25 Audley Street and legally described as Part of
Lot 247, Plan M68, designated as Parts 4, 5, and 6 on Plan 66R-30597, was
declared surplus effective as of the date that the City acquires ownership of
the property. The City proposes to enter into a land exchange agreement with
the owner of 1 Audley Street in respect of the conveyance of the property in
exchange for Parts 10 and 11 on Plan 66R-30597 for park purposes.
