Employment Ontario Employment Specialist will provide information and access to Employment Services

The CNE Community Pass Distribution Event provides eligible Toronto Employment & Social Services (TESS) clients with an opportunity to receive complimentary admission passes to the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE).

Clients who register and attend their scheduled appointment slot will receive CNE Community Passes, subject to availability and program guidelines. The initiative is intended to support access to community and recreational opportunities for individuals and families

A housing worker will provide clients with guidance regarding housing needs/options and landlord mediation.

A settlement counsellor will assist newcomers who need help applying for social and government services.

Employment Ontario Employment Specialist will provide information and access to Employment Services

This in-person session provides an overview of the Ontario Works program administered by Toronto Employment and Social Services. Learn more about financial benefits, social supports, and referrals to employment services that may be available to you.   

Service Canada Representative will provide support for Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan (including Disability), Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canada Child Benefits, Canada Learning Bond, Canada Dental Plan as well as process Social Insurance Numbers on site. Support on Youth, Newcomer and Indigenous Services are also available

This is a drop-in service, first come first served

Clients can meet one on one with a Caseworker for individualized supports. The Bridging Horizons program is open to Black, African and Caribbean newcomers with status in Canada.
