A representative supports job seekers to explore their career goals and pursue long-term and meaningful employment.

This program is designed to support racialized clients who experience barriers; housing instability, systemic discrimination, persistent financial hardship, and may require mental health supports.

Program Eligibility:

• aged 18 and older
• history of long-term OW assistance
• experiencing mental health or addictions, trauma, and/or language/literacy barriers
• disconnection from the labour market

The workshop is hosted by Toronto Public Health, Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation and Toronto Employment and Social Services (IIF).  You will learn about ways to reduce stress, positive coping strategies and available supports to help you and your family.

Service Canada Representative will provide support for Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan (including Disability), Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canada Child Benefits, Canada Learning Bond, Canada Dental Plan as well as process Social Insurance Numbers on site. Support on Youth, Newcomer and Indigenous Services are also available
