A settlement counsellor will provide support in areas such as immigration, taxes, health, applications, housing, referrals to City services and social assistance. General information will be provided on English classes, childcare, clothing/food banks and more.
PTP: A representative will provide basic skills education, upgrading, job search and related services to individuals preparing for employment, training, or further education.
A settlement worker will help newcomers connect to housing and employment and social services.
