This information session will cover eligibility requirements, how to start an application, what is needed to maintain your priority status on the waitlist and how the choice-based housing system works. The session will also include a lawyer-led discussion on housing-related issues to help participants better understand their housing rights and available supports. Housing workers from Unison will be able to provide one-on-one appointments following the session for participants who would like to discuss their individual housing needs and explore available options.
